The new “Haus der Erde” (House of Earth) building, also known as the “Neubau am Geomatikum” (New Building at the Geomatikum), is being constructed to house the Department of Earth System Sciences of the University of Hamburg. After the project ended up in a very precarious situation, the building owner consulted Franke & Thomsen to provide support in the form of crash management. Franke & Thomsen is now responsible for all project governance activities connected to the new building.
