Haus Hoheneichen Hamburg

A small church building dating back to the 1950s was converted into a residential building. On the ground floor, the spacious area that was once the sacred space of the church was retained. This space now contains an open-plan layout with living rooms, offices, a kitchen and a dining area. A hybrid structure made of steel and wood was installed as an intermediate ceiling to create the individual rooms.  Büro Franke handled all performance phases, from the design to the site management.
