An der Alster 1 Hamburg

The office building at the address An der Alster 1, a prominent location directly by the Außenalster lake, was designed by the architecture firm J. Mayer H. Architekten in Berlin. Given its close proximity to a busy traffic junction, the Sechslingspforte, the building’s window elements were given a rear-ventilated, double-glazed design to provide sufficient soundproofing. The architects behind the new building contracted Büro Franke to handle the site management (performance phase 8).
